Bio: Andrew Zang, a 35-year-old, father of two daughters, lawyer, and global corporate real estate advisor has spent the past 12 years consulting for numerous publicly traded companies, global fashion and textile retailers, law firms, international Banks, as well as even Universities. Through his decade-long tenure of tenant advocacy, he has developed a keen sense of self-awareness that started at a young age. Growing up with the belief that good behaviour leads to success, instilled by his parents, has played a crucial role in shaping his journey toward striving for a better understanding of emotional intelligence.

Andrew's experiences in customer service within the workforce and workplace advisory setting, particularly in having made over 100,000 cold calls in his career, have greatly influenced his understanding of self-assessment and self-reflection. The challenge of persuading strangers to meet with you let alone discuss real estate has taught him the importance of enjoying the process and being persistent. He recognizes the impact of corporate culture and talent recruitment based on the workplace setting employees go to every day.

Over the last 6 months, Andrew has built training courses for companies, where he emphasizes key strategies and practices to enhance the importance of understanding emotional intelligence and in 2024 has commenced his rollout of delivering such training to workforces that value a collaborative and respectful workplace! This includes assessing employees' emotional intelligence using his own assessment formulated tool, conducting live role-playing exercises to simulate workplace conflicts and resolution, and identifying the traits of strong team members for talent heads and chief of people leaders within the organization.

His passion for advising tenants with their site selection process of where to house their employees has never been stronger and the ability to now connect with those same companies’ workforce even further and build on both new and established long-term relationships is what drives him more than ever!
