Bio- Dr. Ian A Hedley, a distinguished dental surgeon with a passion for oral health, has dedicated his career to providing comprehensive dental excellence. With a wealth of patient experience practicing in both London, England and Sydney, Australia Dr. Hedley has earned a reputation for his commitment to excellence, patient-centric approach and embracing modern, digital technologies. Graduating from the prestigious dental school at King’s College, University of London, he has continually expanded his expertise through ongoing post graduate education and training in the latest dental technologies and techniques and has a post graduate qualification in advanced oral implantology and has completed post graduate education in California, Florida and Dubai.
Known for his warm and relaxed demeanour and meticulous attention to detail, Dr. Hedley has fostered lasting relationships with his patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and comfort in his practice. Beyond his clinical work, he actively engages in community programs, promoting oral health awareness and education in local schools and regularly travels to Sao Paulo, Brazil to work pro bono for a registered charity. This generosity with his time and expertise forms the cornerstone of his professional philosophy; to be a part of the solution not the problem.
Dr Hedley is the principal dentist and owner of Mosman Dental Surgery in Sydney’s lower north shore. The practice is a centre of excellence for implant, restorative and cosmetic dentistry with a dedicated intravenous sedation surgery suite. He works exclusively with a local master ceramicist to provide exquisite, bespoke ceramic restorations to restore his patients’ smile. His passion is for recreating natural looking smiles that sit comfortable in a patients face and function for years to come.
He is an active member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), the Australasian Osseointegration Society (AOS) and the Australian College of Dental Practitioners (ACDP). He is married with two young children who challenge and inspire him everyday and he enjoys keeping fit in the gym, long nature walks, good food and conversation and is a keen golfer.
