The contribution of women in the entrepreneurial world has been really impressive, not because of their gender but because of the obstacles and adversities they had to face in the beginning while trying to establish themselves as leaders in their respective fields. Today we have one such inspiring entrepreneur with us today who has been inspiring other women to pursue their dream by setting an example with her empowering journey.
Melissa Badine, is a life coach, speaker, author, podcast host, and a recovered people pleaser. If there's anything that she can't do is to give up. Her inspiring journey has been empowered by her personal experiences that gave her the strength to achieve whatever she wants. Her intuitive gifts have been helping her guide her global clients towards self-empowerment in a personal and professional capacity.
We are pleased to be interviewing such an inspiring women entrepreneur and would take you through her career journey to get to know Melissa better.
1. What sort of trauma and grief have you suffered that made you connect with your own intuition and how?
Answer: In high school I lost my child hood best friend to suicide and from there I pivoted my energy as I would receive insights that didn’t resonate for the circumstance. And as life threw more loss and challenges I noticed that what was once intimidating or fear inducing (based off Hollywood movies) were actually signs of synchronicity, support and comfort. Upon further development I found empowerment in this connection as spirit provided comfort in life’s challenges and circumstances which is why I privately focused on developing intuitively.
But the real moment that changed it all for me was when I lost my little sister in 2017 due to mental health struggles and an opioid addiction started from a prescription. I wanted answers, comfort and soul lesson clarity but most importantly I wanted to stay connected to her. Which pushed me to dive full head on in sharing the benefits of intuitive growth for others to have the opportunity to connect past the physical senses. As I truly know and understand the value in holding space for our Christ Consciousness/Intuition as it brought peace and a deeper understanding when a world is crumbling. Which is why I came out of my mediumship closet if you will to help others find some normalcy and healing in owning their own gifts through personal development and internal awareness.
2. As a women entrepreneur, breaking barriers of the social norm, how difficult or struggling your journey has been from beginning till now?
Answer: I could write a book here, but honestly it’s a journey I wouldn’t change. As I’ve dealt with harassment, exclusion and judgements of others. But my most powerful super power that I’ve come to own is the reality that it truly doesn’t matter what others think of me. As long as I am able to provide value for others, these results will speak to those who align. Allowing me to truly be in the moment while living authentically with a goal of assisting a higher purpose. Through owning this mindset the journey has held 80% beauty and 20% hardship but every rainstorm provides a great rainbow we just have to look for it - which is why I’m grateful for the rain as I appreciate the end result.
3. You are quite a multitasker and possessor of many talents as we can see. How do you juggle the many roles in your professional life and how difficult or easy it is for you?
Answer: Automate, eliminate and delegate. For real this has been the number one game changer. If it doesn’t serve a greater purpose or move the needle I cut it from my task list, if it can be outsourced I know what my time is worth and the value of hiring another is perfect to help my business expand and automation is the breath work for expansion in business.
4. How the power of intuition has been helping your clients gain a sense of self-empowerment and how important it is for individuals to get in touch with their own intuition?
Answer: This question is everything! As we all have searched externally for validation in ourselves, our journey whether personally or professionally to even a higher meaning of life. But what if you could search within yourself for all these answers? This is why I love what I do and who I serve as I work with those who are ready to do the work and open for the opportunity of growth. We are all students in this journey of life merely souls living a human experience. So we may as well search for the soul lessons and work to skip some reincarnations or hardships if you will.
To answer the second part a little more clearly, the value of understanding your intuition is that you hold free will and the GIFT is that you chose to develop this opportunity should you choose.
5. Being a women entrepreneur, how important do you think it is to inspire women to pursue their dreams, and how your platform has been contributing to that?
Answer: Together we rise, simple as that. The moment we pick apart someone else is the moment we attract that same energetic vibration within our own cycle. Now I look at it this way but when we offer kindness to others we in turn also feel better about ourselves. Saying this is sounds selfish but truly I offer kindness as often as possible as it creates immediate gratitude chain reactions within every interaction.
If we ignore the opportunities to do this that’s on us as we missed an opportunity to raise the collective. For example - losing my little sister Nikki inspired us to create “Pay It Forward” cards in her honour. This simple gesture has allowed us to have cards with her name and energy shared globally and this little act has inspired others to create more for their own loved ones lost.
Imagine if we create movements like this in our everyday life regardless the act?
That’s my goal - to help others find their intuitive awareness to listen to their souls purpose to prevent misalignment, inauthenticity and also break chains of disconnect to a higher calling.
Whether individuals have joined my membership “The Awakened Sisterhood” for safety and comfort in developing their gifts to taking my online courses at their own pace I have found that curiosity for growth is expanding and we are all capable of more than we’ve been told. The gift lays within us, we just need to search.
