His parents' dedication to operating successful cafes & pubs sparked Mark's interest in the business world, planting the seeds for his later endeavours, working in a number restaurants and pubs during his upbringing.
Later a first-class graduate in Digital Advertising & Design from Ravensbourne University in London, Mark honed his skills through years of freelance projects, gaining valuable insights into the role of social media in the hospitality industry. His impressive portfolio includes key client-side and agency projects with eminent brands such as Krispy Kreme, Hyatt, Marriott, the Brighton Pier Group.
Recognising a significant gap in the market for hospitality brands, Mark founded Double Up Social in October 2018, dedicated to providing a holistic approach to digital marketing. Mark's primary goal was to bridge the often-separate worlds he had seen in the F&B of content creation and digital strategy.
