Vanessa Kahlon is a family advocate and educationist with over two decades of experience. She has completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology and with her expertise, she is dedicated towards bringing solace and relief to countless families with high-spirited children. In 2008, she opened her own company, KAHLON FAMILY SERVICES and used her years of experience to help others get on their feet. . Her goal is to build a movement that encourages healthy habits for the whole family.

 

She wants every parent to know that they are not alone and that there are resources available when they need them most. She put her years of experience and knowledge in KFS and dedicated it to serving families across the world. Vanessa focuses on helping both kids and adults live happy, healthy lives. By giving back to her community through volunteering, mentoring kids at school, teaching classes on parenting skills and more - she's making the world a better place one step at a time. To empower parents with the right strategies and tools for their tough but rewarding job, Vanessa spends her days working tirelessly.

 

Her school, KFS provides a number of services including in-home programs, education, and one-on-one help to children. Vanessa has taken training in child development, in addition to practicing child behavior programs and working as a parent educator in California.

It is her intent to help not just children and their parents, but also the experts who provide parenting courses and the therapists who specialize in the challenges facing children with certain learning difficulties and behavior problems. This leads to her latest undertaking of starting a program that uses the method of yoga for kids, both children and their teachers, who want to overcome challenges in school.

Vanessa is also a speaker around California with schools and other organizations seeking to further develop their knowledge about behavior modification and management. As 2014's Woman of the Year for the National Association of Professional Women.

Her expertise has allowed her to positively impact not only children, but those who teach them, as well as the adults who work with them daily in schools and childcare facilities. She is determined to make life easier for you by making parenting easy, so that you can spend more time doing what you love most-parenting your child!

She also published a book recently named, "How To Do Parenting With Confidence. In his new book, Kahlon teaches parents openness, confidence, and flexibility to help them deal with the complexities of parenthood. Her system creates a home where healthy boundaries are set and met, where parents feel confident in themselves and their abilities, giving them freedom from judgment or criticism from others. The goal is not to be perfect or raise perfect kids; it's about being content and secure in who we are as individuals so we can enjoy our kids for who they are without comparison.
